Fly Control for Horses

Fly Predators are tiny and never bother people or animals. You'll likely never see them, but you will see their results.

Yes, you can enjoy summer without flies!

Simply give Fly Predators a try. These little bugs really can do a "monumental" job. They're the safe, easy-to-use alternative to spraying gallons of pesticide, hanging dozens of stinky traps or putting up acres of sticky strips only to have the flies just keep coming back. So rather than doing what you did last year, and having the same fly problem this year, Kiss Flies Goodbye for good.

“Wish I had tried Fly Predators last year when I first heard about them. What a difference.” Katherine M. Lincoln, VT

My family started using Fly Predators 33 years ago with our horses and our fly problem literally disappeared. So we started offering them to others and over the past 32 years hundreds of thousands of horse owners have relied on them. The vast majority with great results as you can see from the quotes in this brochure. Once someone tries Fly Predators for at least three shipments, most typically use them for as long as they have their animals. They really do work.

You can see over a thousand more customer comments on our web site including those nearest you by going to our customer quotes.

But since you're reading this Web site, it's likely that you haven't tried Fly Predators. While you may have gotten our brochure in the past or seen our magazine ads, since you didn't order, maybe you wondered how little bugs could fix the big fly problem that is almost inevitable every summer with horses or livestock.

“Such a drastic improvement with Fly Predators! My barn was a beehive of buzzing flies last summer at this time plus lots of flies in the house.” Wendy G. Rifle, CO

Perhaps you're skeptical that something as easy as sprinkling a small, inexpensive pouch of Fly Predators around your place every three to four weeks during warm weather could be as good as “advertised.” You're not alone, but last year tens of thousands of new customers ordered Fly Predators and most were delighted they “finally” tried them. This year why don't you?

“Fly Predators made a monumental difference on our farm last summer.” Darren Chiacchia on Windfall Springville, NY Olympic and PanAm medalist and many time US Team member

You see Fly Predators are not a magic “new” fly control product. They are perhaps nature's original fly control. You almost certainly have some of the species that are included in our Fly Predator® brand beneficial insects already working for you on your property. They're part of the reason you aren't literally knee deep in flies. You may have way too many flies, but without these good bugs, it would be far worse.

By simply increasing the ratio of Fly Predators to flies you can almost completely suppress the flies. With a higher than normal population of Fly Predators, they parasitize almost every pupae, which means hardly any flies. They do the work and you enjoy the benefit.

There's no downside as the Fly Predators do not bother either people or animals. Equally important you stop flies before they have a chance to reproduce. A 4% survival rate means you've got around 15 new flies coming for every one you see today as each female fly can lay up to 900 eggs. That's why controlling flies by just attacking the adults with sprays, baits, traps, etc. is almost always a losing battle.

Will Fly Predators alone control every location's fly problem? They can do a great job most places, except if you are closely surrounded by many more animals than yours with poor fly control. In that case while you will see less flies by stopping their breeding on your property with Fly Predators, you'll still have flies that come from your neighbors.

The 'Fly Control for Horses' section of this Web site describes how to optimize your farm to make the fly breeding areas (usually manure) unsuitable for flies, so you can achieve even more remarkable Fly Predator results.

Wouldn’t it be nice to Kiss Flies Goodbye this summer? If so, I urge you to try Fly Predators.
